High-Integrity Industrial Castings Built for Reliability

At NOCKERS ENGINEERING PRODUCTS, we supply centrifugal and static castings manufactured for demanding industrial applications. These products deliver high metallurgical soundness, dimensional accuracy, and reliability where failure is not an option.

Using centrifugal casting technology, molten steel is spun in moulds to produce castings with a fine, defect-free microstructure. Impurities are forced to the inside surface and removed during machining, ensuring outstanding cleanliness and mechanical performance. Our static casting capabilities complement centrifugal production for parts best suited to sand or stationary moulds.

As an industrial casting supplier in South Africa, we partner with Fondinox S.p.A to provide stainless steel and nickel alloy castings tailored to mining, chemical and petrochemical, nuclear, and heavy manufacturing sectors.

The Process for

Centrifugal Casting?

The centricast process involves pouring molten metal into a rotating steel mould. Water cooling of the mould permits rapid solidification from outside to the inside surfaces of the casting which creates:

  • Clean microstructures with inclusions mechanically separated and eliminated during machining
  • High material density for strength under pressure
  • Dimensional accuracy comparable to forgings but with shorter lead times
  • Production capability in all alloys compliant with international standards

After the solidification the item is pulled from the moulding and is ready for heat treatment.

Why Choose Centrifugal Cast Pipes for Hydraulics?

Centrifugal cast pipes offer higher mechanical strength than static castings, with the added benefit of reduced lead times — typically two weeks for rough supply and three to four weeks for pre-machined supply ex-works. They also deliver cost savings through optimised moulds that reduce weight and raw material use, while every alloy is fully traceable and certified to ASTM, EN, and ISO standards.
